Trick To Charge AirPods With iPhone Wirelessly?

But many people have found a trick that actually lets you charge the AirPods using the iPhone for a brief moment.
Although you cannot fully charge the AirPods with this trick, it shows that iPhone has all the tech needed to wirelessly charge AirPods with reverse wireless charging, but for some reason, Apple has not enabled the same yet.
So let’s see how.
Let’s say you have an Apple MagSafe battery pack.
As soon as you place the battery back on the back of the iPhone, it starts to charge the iPhone instantly.
Now plug the iPhone for charging, and place the MagSafe battery pack on the back of the iPhone.
If you look closer, you will notice that even though the MagSafe battery pack is not directly connected to the charger, it charges via the iPhone.
It means the iPhone is connected to the charger, and the iPhone is wirelessly charging the MagSafe battery pack.
Now comes the trick.
If you slowly slide the MagSafe battery pack out and at the same time place the AirPods case on the back of the iPhone, you will notice that the AirPods charge for a brief moment.
It is to be noted that the AirPods only charge for about 3 to 5 seconds, so it is not a viable method to charge your AirPods.
But this shows that reverse wireless charging technology is possible on iPhones, and it is just a matter of a software update enabling the same.
We hope to see the feature come live on iPhones with the upcoming updates.
This way, even if you don’t have a charger and your AirPods battery is too low, you can reverse the wireless charge the same using an iPhone.
